Graham Smith is a three-time Emmy Award winning Director of Photography with over 30 years of experience creating commercials, TV shows and promos. Graham began his camera career shooting TV news for the Charlotte CBS affiliate - then traveled the world shooting features for 'PM Magazine'.

Graham later moved into a creative role as senior promotions producer for both the NBC and ABC stations. In the mid-90's Graham left TV and jumped into freelance film production, as an award winning Producer / DP - writing, shooting and editing local commercials for Paradox Films, Speedway Motor Sports, WSOC-TV and the 'Bob and Sheri' show - to name a few. 

In 1999 Graham packed his bags and headed west, to become the Promotions Director of Q-13 FOX in Seattle. Three years later, Graham joined forces with expert stock photographer, Ron Chapple to create the Thinkstock Footage collection.

After the sale of "Thinkstock" , Graham became 'Collections Director and Chief Cinematographer ' for the Jupiterimages Footage division. He traveled the USA and Canada directing monthly film shoots for the Thinkstock, Bigshot and Creatas collections. In 2007 Graham jumped back into the freelance DP and still photography world, shooting numerous local and national projects for film, print and TV. Graham Smith is a Charlotte native and still lives in the area.
